Hi I'm Matt, I love getting out hiking, scrambling and wild camping! When I'm not on an adventure, I love going to the gym to keep in shape and listening to motivational and mind management audio books.

I used to do a lot of running for the Rotherham Harriers up until 2014, sadly I had to stop due to knee problems. These days I love getting away from the busy towns and stresses of every day life, getting my solitude in is very important to me. Being around nature is my therapy, taking in the amazing sights the UK has to offer. You'll often see me out with my kids and dogs on little adventures, it's awesome family time and never a dull moment!

To do as many Wainwright’s as possible - currently on 14 of 214...oh and Ben Nevis, which I'll be doing when I complete the National 3 Peaks challenge this year.
