Hi I’m Janine, an adventure loving ultra-runner! I love being in the mountains and am lucky to live close to the Peak District, where I can often be found skipping along the trails whilst singing badly.
I love to travel and have spent the last 3 years living in various parts of North America, where my running was put on hold. 2019 is the comeback year where I plan to collect the points and experience needed for UTMB – the mecca of ultra-running! My biggest ultra so far will be The Hardmoors 110 (112 miles) in May.
When I’m not out on the trails I love to go Rock Climbing, something I really got into whilst I was out in the US. I’ve found it’s helped me loads with lower body strength…would you believe I’m actually afraid of heights too…!? I also enjoy riding my horses and the occasional dabble in obstacle course races, nothing quite beats being waist deep in mud or a winter pond swim!
Outside of all the fun and adventure I work as a Sports Massage therapist, I love helping others to perform and feel at their best.
